Hi Easy Baby Travelers friends! Hope you've been having a great summer so far! A lot of you have been sending me messages and have been getting to know me over on Instagram (hiiiii!) and have been wondering how our average day goes and how Easy Baby Travelers fits into all of that, so we've decided to share a little bit about how our typical daily routine begins!
Give it a read and let me know what you think! I love getting your feedback! Best yet, I get to share a little more about how I get ready for my day as a HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER! Read on for more!
At 6am, I am up to greet Luke first thing! He is not very patient while waiting to be picked up out of the crib, so getting there quickly is key! We do morning snuggles and hugs and pick out our clothes for the day together.
Next up is to get Phin from his big boy bed. We usually hit the potty (we are potty training) and then pick out our clothes for the day as well!
It's funny how fast the craziness begins! Jason starts making their lunches for school, Barkley waits patiently to be fed, and the boys begin to tell us what they want for breakfast. It is usually waffles or pancakes (the Eggo kind!), which is fine with us - it's easy and delicious first thing in the morning!
As their food heats up, the boys get dressed and get situated on the couch with Bubble Guppies so Dad can finish getting daycare bags packed. Thanks, honey!
By 6:40, we are doing goodbye hugs and kisses. This is the hardest part of the day because I am off to teach at the local high school!
Of course, I can't head that way without my quick stop at Dunkin' Donuts for coffee and breakfast. I use their app so that everything is ready by the time I walk in their door, and it is SUCH a time-saver!
Arriving at school is my happy place! I park my car and head into the building, where my principal is typically standing outside pumping music to welcome the students and staff. It's a great way to get the day started!
So that's my morning - how does it compare to yours? Do you rock your matching bag + sneakers, too, and what do YOU do when you're not at home snuggling your babies? Let us know over on Instagram!
